Kolkata models showcase garments by Padma Sareer Kuthir, employed by SRL Brands on this Nababarsho

 

The Bengali New year, known as Nababarsho, is an auspicious day for all people in Bengal. Also, Nababarsho marks the beginning of Baisakh month, which is also celebrated as Baisakhi by the Punjabis.

This auspicious day is usually marked by wearing new clothes made by fresh new thread, & commonly known as "notun suto" in Bengal.

Padma Sareer Kuthir, based in Gariahat area of Kolkata City, brings new collection of sarees for Bangla Nababarsho this year, & an exclusive photoshoot featuring Kolkata models to display these sarees have been done by the SRL Brands wing of SRL Motion Pictures Entertainment, one of the renowned production houses of West Bengal.

Some of the models showcasing these bright & colourful sarees, some of which are silk, cotton & Georgette, are also actresses who have featured in various mega serials & feature films.

Papri Biswas, Mitali Bhattacharya, Pragati Das & Debamrita Biswas are seen smartly adorning these sarees & spreading their glory with all grandeur.

The advertisement shoot team of SRL Motion Pictures Entertainment, more commonly known as SRL Brands, headed by their E.P Miss Piyali Shil, had taken an audition which featured more than 50 models, out of which these 4 were chosen by process of elimination.
