SRL's Naboborsho Shoot Delineats Bangaleeana
A story by Vaishali Nag : Nababarsho in Bengal is the start of a new year. Usually occuring on 14th or 15th of April every year, it marks the beginning of the Bengali
New Year with Poila Boisakh, meaning the 1st day of the Baisakh month.
Many of the reputed brands of Kolkata as well as entire West Bengal starts new business year on this day, much like the English financial year of 1st April. Each brand gets out their new stock, be it goods like garments, jewellery, as well as the other products that they cater to.
One such reputed brand of Kolkata is Padma Sareer Kuthi, Gariahat, which has a legacy of over 40 years. Owned by Saha babu, this shop has a wide collection of various types of sarees, starting from traditional tant to modern chiffon.
Like every year, this year also they have launched their new stock of sarees & have advertised this via 4 beautiful & talented models, through the reputed Production House SRL Motion Pictures Entertainment, owned by Sarbajit Ghosh.
Here are the models who have featured in the hoardings of Padma Sareer Kuthi this year:
Anaa Dutta: A graceful & professional dancer with an experience of more than 8 years, Anaa hails from Krishna Nagar of West Bengal, currently residing in Kolkata.
Besides being a dance, she is also a model & actress who has some great poses & expressions & is one of the models in a hoarding of Padma this year.
Upon asking, she disclosed that she has some more upcoming projects coming up, namely a reputed & branded tollywood calendar shoot, as well lead role in a video song shoot from a reputed record label.
She hopes to work in mega serials in the coming future.
Beautie Barman: Hailing from the town of Joygaon near the Bhutan border, this young model is pursuing her career in the glamour industry alongside being a student. Modelling is both profession & passion, & though she is more profecient in western shoots, she is equally graceful in traditional ethnic garments shoots as well, which can well be observed in her hoarding shoot with Padma Sareer Kuthi.
In the coming years, she hopes to be the face of various known & reputed brands, & is also going to feature in a reputed modelling calendar of the industry which is also associated with a very renowned commercial food brand.
Nilanjana Biswas: This sweet & chubby model is also a popular selfie & reel queen, who enjoys modelling as a passion.
Belonging from Chakdah in Bengal, this young lady says that for her the modelling work is more important than the remuneration. She feels that enjoying her profession & job satisfaction is more important than anything else. Nilanjana has already featured in the SRL WoW Calendar 2021, as well as done banner shoots of the once reputed Bongo Garments. As one of the very few in-house models of SRL, she is glad to have featured in the Nababarsho Hoarding of Padma Sareer Kuthi this year.
Urmila Polley: Also known as Barsha, Urmila is a very experienced model who is working since 2017 & has featured in various reputed brand shoots such as the SRL WoW Calendar 2019, Diwali hoarding shoots of Bongo Garments, Western Gown shoots of Priya Garments, as well as western party wear shoots of Nü Fashion, Gariahat, to name a few.
Hailing from Howrah, this model is happy to have been featured in the Nababarsho Hoarding of Padma Sareer Kuthi this year, & is getting ready for some more upcoming commercial brand shoots.
This hoarding shoot was organized by SRL Motion Pictures Entertainment, under the guidance of it's E.P, Ms. Piyali Shil, who along with casting director Priya, did a wonderful job of coordinating with Padma brand as well as the remaining team to successfully carry out the shoot. Photography was done by Joy, & editing by Soumodip Roy. Make-up artists were Rohon Das (Ruhi) & Chiranjit (Roni).
