New Barrackpore's Sandeep Sarkar died while trekking in North Kashi of Uttarakhand

Sandeep Sarkar , a resident of Kamargati of New Barrackpore police station, died while taking trekking training in North Kashi of Uttarakhand. Sandeep Sarkar, is a school teacher by profession.Death took place due to an avalanche.The Officials from the District Magistrate's office visited his house last Monday to have words with Sarkar's wife and other family members. His body will arrived at Dumdum airport on Tuesday afternoon. 
Sushankar Roy, brother-in-law of the deceased, said that a total of 41 people had gone to Parvatarohan Training Center in Uttarakhand to take an advanced course on behalf of the Nehru Institute of Mountaineering. Among them, two others, including his son-in-law, left Bengal. The rest are from other states. Sushankar claimed that Sandeep had left home on September 11. He was supposed to return home on October 12. But around 8-15 am on October 4, 41 people were hit by an avalanche just 100 meters from the summit. A few survived, but 29 were buried under the ice and were missing. The news reached his family on Monday morning that Sandeep's body has been identified. His untimely death has cast a shadow of grief across the Kamargati region.
